How to convert EPUB to PDF

  1. 1

Start dragging the EPUB file, from the desktop or any folder.

  2. 2

While you're still holding it, tap Shift. A ring of planets opens around the file, one for each format it can become.

  3. 3

Drop the file on the PDF planet. The PDF copy appears next to the original a moment later.

Good to know

EPUB books reflow to fit the screen, while a PDF has fixed pages, so the page breaks in the PDF are new. Chapters, headings and paragraphs carry over.

Books bought from stores with copy protection (DRM) can't be converted; this works for DRM-free EPUBs. The same ring also offers Word, plain text, Markdown, HTML and RTF.

PlanetOS does all of this on your computer. Your files are never uploaded, and it works without an internet connection.

Questions
