File converter for Linux
PlanetOS for Linux converts files from your file manager with one drag: start dragging a file, tap Shift, drop it on a planet. It runs on X11 and Wayland desktops, on x64 and ARM.

On the Linux desktop
PlanetOS lives in the system tray. Shift opens conversions, Alt opens tools and Ctrl opens file actions, the same as on Windows. The download shortcut is Ctrl+Alt+Shift+D, so it doesn't collide with browser bookmarks.
Window snapping works on X11 window managers that support the standard EWMH hints.
Install
Download the tarball for your machine, extract it and run ./PlanetOS. It uses ffmpeg and Tesseract from your distribution when they're installed (apt install ffmpeg tesseract-ocr, or the equivalent).
There's also a command line tool: planetos convert, run and download work from scripts and terminals.
PlanetOS does all of this on your computer. Your files are never uploaded, and it works without an internet connection.
