How to convert PDF to PowerPoint

  1. 1

Start dragging the PDF file, from the desktop or any folder.

  2. 2

While you're still holding it, tap Shift. A ring of planets opens around the file, one for each format it can become.

  3. 3

Drop the file on the PowerPoint planet. The PowerPoint copy appears next to the original a moment later.

What you get

This is the right tool when someone sends you their slides as a PDF and you need to present them in PowerPoint or Keynote, or add your own slides around them. The pages look exactly like the PDF.

The text on the slides is part of the picture, so it isn't editable. If you need to edit the words, convert the PDF to Word and copy them from there.

PlanetOS does all of this on your computer. Your files are never uploaded, and it works without an internet connection.

Questions

Will it open in Keynote and Google Slides?
